Quick answers
What is the best Quran reading tracker app?
A good Quran reading tracker lets you read the Arabic text with a translation, keeps your place with bookmarks, works offline and records your daily reading with a streak. Islamic Tracker does all of this for free, with no ads, on Android and iPhone.
How many pages a day to finish the Quran in 30 days?
The standard Madani mushaf has 604 pages, so finishing in 30 days takes about 20 pages a day, which is one juz. Four pages after each of the five prayers adds up to roughly the same amount.
Which surah should I read daily?
Many Muslims read Surah Al-Mulk before sleeping, Surah Al-Kahf on Fridays and the last two verses of Surah Al-Baqarah at night, all based on authentic narrations. Beyond these, any daily portion read consistently is good.
Can I read the Quran with translation?
Yes. The Quran reader in Islamic Tracker shows the Arabic text with a translation, so you can understand what you read. Reading the translation of your daily portion once or twice a week is a simple way to reflect.
How do I keep a Quran reading streak?
Read at the same time each day, start with a small amount such as one page, keep a bookmark and log your reading in a tracker. If you miss a day, read a little the next morning and continue.
Does the Quran app work offline?
Yes. The Quran reader in Islamic Tracker works without an internet connection, so you can read on a flight, while commuting or anywhere with poor signal.
Read the Quran anywhere
The Quran reader has the Arabic text with a translation, and bookmarks so you can return to exactly where you stopped. It works offline, so you can read on a flight, on the train or anywhere without a connection. There are no ads between pages.
Track your Quran reading
Reading a little every day adds up. In Islamic Tracker you can log your Quran reading, set a daily target and build a streak. Weekly and monthly analytics show how consistent you have been, next to your prayers and dhikr.
What to look for in a Quran app
- Clear Arabic text that is easy to read on a phone.
- A translation so you can understand what you recite.
- Bookmarks to return to your place instantly.
- Offline reading for travel and places with poor signal.
- No ads, so nothing interrupts your recitation.
- A way to track your reading, so you can see your progress over weeks and months.
Islamic Tracker covers each of these, and keeps your reading record on your device.
Why tracking your reading helps
Many people start the Quran with good intentions and then lose the thread after a busy week. Seeing a streak, or a weekly chart of the days you read, makes it easier to notice a gap early and get back on track. Tracking is not about numbers for their own sake; it is a reminder to keep a daily connection with the Quran.
Tips for a daily Quran habit
- Pick a fixed time, such as after Fajr or before sleeping.
- Start small: a page a day is easier to keep than a juz.
- Read with the translation now and then to reflect on the meaning.
- Use your streak as a gentle reminder, not a source of stress.

Daily surah: what to read and when
These are commonly recited, with narrations reported in the major collections:
- Surah Al-Kahf on Fridays. Reported to bring light between the two Fridays (narrated by al-Hakim and al-Bayhaqi, and graded authentic by many scholars).
- Surah Al-Mulk before sleeping. The Prophet ﷺ would not sleep until he had recited it and Surah As-Sajdah (Jami' at-Tirmidhi); a surah of thirty verses intercedes for its reciter (Sunan Abi Dawud, Jami' at-Tirmidhi).
- The last two verses of Surah Al-Baqarah at night. Whoever recites them at night, they will suffice him (Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim).
- Surah Al-Ikhlas. Described as equal to a third of the Quran (Sahih al-Bukhari).
These do not replace your daily portion; they sit alongside it.

Reading the Quran with translation
Reciting the Arabic is worship in itself, and understanding it brings the meaning to life. A simple approach:
- Recite your daily portion in Arabic.
- Once or twice a week, read the translation of what you recited.
- Pick one verse to reflect on during the day.
- For deeper study, read a trusted tafsir or attend a class.
The app's reader shows the translation alongside the Arabic, and it also has Quran learning features; see the learn Quran app page.
📲 Read the Arabic with translation side by side and keep your place with bookmarks. Get it free on Google Play or the App Store.
